TPE and PME Patronage

1st of January 2019

The Finance Law Project adjusts the Aillagon act of 2003 on the patronage of small and medium-sized enterprises in France.

A ceiling of €10,000 or 0.5% of sales

At the end of a long battle in order to repair an imbalance, the ceiling is now set at €10,000 to develop patronage for small and medium-sized businesses of the debutant financial year, starting in January 2019. This tax reduction enables them to pursue and reinforce their commitments to projects initiated by sportive, social or cultural associations, with the TPE’s (micro-enterprises) and PME’s (small to medium businesses) being very active in actions of public interest.

60% tax exemption

The patron company is entitled to an exemption of 60% of its total donation. If the ceiling is exceeded, the remaining amount will be carried forward over the next five years to benefit from a tax reduction.
